Who knew the first two weeks of launching would be so crazy? We finally have a moment to breathe and wanted to share the awesomeness of our Seattle launch party with you! -- Angela, Founder of Afrobeatnik
Afrobeatnik celebrated our March 1st launch with a night of cupcakes, good music and stylish vintage.
The event began with a fashion show during the performance of hip hop artist Catherine Harris-White (half of the duo THEESatisfaction). Artist Turtle T of Nu Era then took the stage while our lovely event goers enjoyed UH-MAZING cupcakes from Harriet's House of Cakes. Our 9 fabulous models looked fly with the help of a few of Seattle's most talented stylists including Lindsey Martz and Tana Yasu.
The event could not have been pulled off without the dedicated teamwork of Angela Moorer (Founder & Creative Director), Jerrie Fu (Wardrobe Stylist/Fashion Show Coordinator) and Sonya Harris (Affiliate and Customer Relations). We are so grateful for the attendance of youth media organization What's Good 206 and photographer Shann Thomas for capturing some of the night's highlights. Much love to Lucid Lounge for providing an intimate and inviting venue to kick off our sustainable and diverse mission.
The Afrobeatnik collection is available for sale now. For the month of March, shop 20% off using the launch code "LAUNCHLOVE" at checkout.
