One of our core values at Afrobeatnik is embracing all shapes of sizes of the human body. So naturally, we’re obsessed with the catchiest hit of the summer: Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass.” Trainor’s upbeat ode to body positivity has been gracing the radio since June and has gained a lot of attention thanks to lyrics like “It's pretty clear I ain't no size 2, but I can shake it, shake it like I'm supposed to do.”

 The only thing we love more than the song is the video. Directed by choreographer Fatima Robinson, the pastel-hued video pays homage to the fashion and aesthetics of ‘60s girl groups and features dancers of all races and sizes. It’s almost like it was made for us. Check it out here:
